La Casa Aboy is one of the emblem spaces of the Miramar sector due to the intense cultural activity displayed since the 70’s.  The house was created between 1910 and 1912. The name Aboy comes from Ramon Aboy, descendant of the original owners. He was tasked with restoring the structure and turning it into an important cultural space.La Casa was designed by puertorrican architect Miguel Ferrer. It was inspired by the style of architect Antonin Nechodoma, whose work was very popular at the time. The original elements – the wood floors, glass and wood doors and windows—are still preserved.
